David Wilson is one of the landowners, and he’s eager to see progress. He manages about 400 acres in the area on behalf of his family, including seven siblings. “If you look at a map of the Tri-Cities, the center is right at west Pasco, where the gravel pit is,” Wilson said. “(Growth) will naturally come that way.” He inked a development deal with Pahlisch Homes after visiting the Bend, Ore.-based developer and seeing its past and present projects. Street of Dreams to build in Hillsboro in 2018 - Hillsboro Tribune

Next summer, the 2018 Northwest Natural Street of Dreams will be held in South Hillsboro, the massive housing development currently under construction along Tualatin Valley Highway. The annual housing showcase, which just wrapped up its 2017 event in Happy Valley, will showcase more than a half-dozen homes starting in August 2018. “Everybody’s excited,” said Dennis Pahlisch, owner of Pahlisch Homes, which is hosting the event in South Hillsboro. “It’s been a long process to make this happen. Bend City Council OKs River Vale development - Bend Bulletin

A 37-acre, 78-home subdivision on the south end of Bend along the Deschutes River won preliminary approval Wednesday from the Bend City Council. Councilors voted 7-0 to allow Pahlisch Homes to build the River Vale development, which would be bordered by the Deschutes River to the west and the private River Rim community to the east and runs into the city’s urban growth boundary at the south end. It still requires one more vote. Pahlisch Homes project manager Chad Bettesworth said the development should provide housing that fits city needs. “Hopefully we can be a friendly, good developer with the city of Bend,” Bettesworth said.
