Friendsgiving Roll Call: What Every Pahlisch Community Is Bringing to the Table

Wondering what to bring to Friendsgiving this year? Consider it handled. Every neighborhood has a personality, and every personality has a dish. So, this year, we did the assigning. Twelve Pahlisch communities across Oregon and Washington mean twelve dishes (and one very full table!) Find yours below, grab the recipe, and consider your Friendsgiving contribution handled.

Collina (Newberg, OR): Mac and Cheese

Technically a side, treated like the main, everyone’s favorite neighbor. Collina is the charming kind of community where that tracks. Tucked into Newberg, it will soon be home to Basecamp at Collina, with a private pool, clubhouse, and paved trails that put the beauty of the Pacific Northwest right outside your door.

Collier (Bend, OR): Charcuterie Board

Arrives early, keeps everyone fed until dinner, always knows what’s going on. That’s Collier, where location is everything. Set on Bend’s westside, it sits minutes from the city’s most popular restaurants and shops, with Shevlin Park nearby for soaking up Bend’s sunshine.

Build your board with Sip and Feast.

Sanderling Park (Ridgefield, WA): Apple Crisp

Easygoing, a little rustic, even better with ice cream and good company. Sanderling Park brings hometown vibes to Ridgefield without giving up city access, and its brand-new Basecamp (pool, clubhouse, and gym) is the kind of place where good company tends to gather.

Get the recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction.

Rosedale Parks (Hillsboro, OR): Hot Honey Brussel Sprouts

Sweet, a little bold, and everyone will ask for the recipe. Rosedale Parks puts you in a great Hillsboro location, close to the newest food and shopping, with a clubhouse, pool, and gym for the days you’d rather stay close to home.

Get the recipe from How Sweet Eats.

Ochoco Pointe (Prineville, OR): Pumpkin Pie

Classic for a reason. Cool Whip optional, seconds not. Ochoco Pointe sits in the heart of Prineville, with a pool, playground, and basketball hoop on site, and Central Oregon adventures like Barnes Butte just down the road.

Get the recipe from McCormick.

Mark’s Place at Tofte Farms (Canby, OR): Green Bean Casserole

Crispy on top, cozy underneath, the dish that tastes like home. Mark’s Place is a cute Canby community with paved trails and a pickleball court, backing up to the Molalla River for the kind of scenery that makes a Thursday feel like a Saturday.

Get the recipe from My Baking Addiction.

Solstice (Pasco, WA): Cranberry Sauce

Fresh cranberries, orange zest, made from scratch, the pop of color on every plate. Solstice brings that same brightness to Pasco, where Basecamp features a private pool, clubhouse, and gym.

Get the recipe from NYT Cooking.

Petrosa (Bend, OR): Maple Glazed Carrots

Sweet, roasted, the dish that steals a little attention from the turkey. Petrosa earns its attention in NE Bend with amenities galore: parks, greenspaces, paved trails, a pool, clubhouse, and gym.

Get the recipe from A Flavor Journal.

Quail Ridge at Horn Rapids (Richland, WA): Mashed Potatoes

Buttery, creamy goodness, and the reason the gravy boat exists. Quail Ridge is Richland’s comfort dish, with a Basecamp that features a private pool, clubhouse, and gym.

Get the recipe from Delish.

Westcliffe Heights (Richland, WA): Apple Cider

Simmering all day so the whole house smells like it, the warm welcome everyone gets at the door. The views from Westcliffe Heights are hard to beat, and the private pool and clubhouse overlook the Tri-Cities, so the welcome comes with a backdrop.

Get the recipe from The Pioneer Woman.

Butternut Creek (Hillsboro, OR): Sweet Potato Casserole

Toasted marshmallows, brown sugar, the plate kids and grown-ups fight over. Butternut Creek keeps everyone busy in Hillsboro with paved trails, a basketball court, splash pad, dog park, and bike track.

Get the recipe from Build Your Bite.

Easton (Bend, OR): Burrata + Roasted Squash

A fresh take, creamy meets caramelized, it already feels like a new tradition. Easton is SE Bend’s newest, with a pool, clubhouse, gym, and paved trails, plus easy access to downtown Bend and the Old Mill District.

Get the recipe from Half Baked Harvest.

Pull up a chair

The best part of Friendsgiving isn’t the food. It’s the table: the friends who’ve been there for years, the ones you met along the way, and the neighbor who became one somewhere between the clubhouse and the pickleball court. From all of us at Pahlisch Homes, happy Thanksgiving. We hope your table is full.

P.S. Somebody still has to bring the main. NYT Cooking’s simple roast turkey lives up to its name, and if a whole bird feels like a lot for a Friendsgiving crowd, Wishbone Kitchen’s festive roast chicken is the move.
